Grading scale for Vintage Posters

At Póster Félix, we apply the international grading standards used by the IVPDA, major vintage poster galleries, and leading auction houses. This system ensures consistency, transparency, and accuracy when assessing the condition of each piece.

International Standard Grading Scale for Vintage Posters:

  • A+ / A / A– — Excellent condition: Bright colors, minimal wear, no or only very minor restoration.
  • B+ / B / B– — Good condition: Visible defects such as folds, small tears, or noticeable restoration. Still displays well.
  • C+ / C / C– — Poor condition: Significant damage, paper loss, heavy restoration. May retain decorative or historical value.

Each poster card clearly indicates its state of conservation, following this scale.
